The quality of a picture is related directly to the number of pixels it can capture both horizontally and vertically. For the printing of long-lasting standard sized photographs, you will need at least a 1-2 megapixel camera. The larger the photo, the more pixels you will need to get sharp images.

 

Zoom lenses can play a very important part in the appearance of your photographs. The size as well as the type of zoom are very important to consider in one of the features of your digital camera. You will be able to get very close to your subject if you have a large zoom. For good quality photographs, make sure that your digital camera has an optical zoom and not a digital zoom.
